This week, let’s meditate on the Afrikan proverb, “A feeble effort will not fulfill the self.”
In my own opinion, this proverb regards our personal efforts and energy, and doing things to the fullest extent of our capabilities. When teaching abroad I saw and felt the difference between teaching with a full-heart (passionate) and teaching because I felt that I had to (because it was my job).
There was such a huge difference in my overall efforts and effectiveness when I was able to fully and freely express myself through teaching my students, and the payoff was huge! As a millennial it is said that, we are the generation who pursue meaningful careers, can you relate to this or naw?
